axel99092
Edit plist inside a kext- open Kext or drop kext to the list, all plist Files will be listed- on the right side you see the folder- on the bottom you see the full path- choose File in the List - open Editor - edit File- When you exit the program the correct permissions on the kext file are set. Gringo Vermelho
I like this, very useful. A couple of things; it needs a cool name like...I don't know, "X-Ray" or something. The "File" and "Edit" menu titles are in German. The editor asks for my password up front, which is annoying when i just want to look at a plist. I can open a kext from S/L/E by clicking cancel, but it won't let me open the info.plist without me giving it my password first. And then it says "password missing" for no reason when I quit. It should only ask for your password when you're done and want to save your changes. If the user hasn't done anything that requires a password, it should not ask for it. Laberlohe
it needs a cool name like...I don't know, "X-Ray" or something. It needs definitely a cool name. I think most combinations of x-ray are already in use... I'd suggest: γ-ray (spoken "geek-ray")

axel99092
The "File" and "Edit" menu titles are in German. I'll change it It should only ask for your password when you're done and want to save your changes. If the user hasn't done anything that requires a password, it should not ask for it. You're right, I think I should omit the password prompt at start. When you change a file in the editor do I have to do it. Write permissions are then necessary. Remember that it is a first version, post such as yours help to make it better, Thank you.

mnfesq
Very nice work. Thank you. One thought: For those of us who use Clover in EFI, it would be nice to have a copy kext button that allows the user to select the location. The copy kext to E/E assumes that the user is using Chameleon rather than Clover.

I have added a button - 'copy kext to Folder' Download
