YungRaj
Okay so I have had a successfully running Hackintosh for about 3 or 4 months now but I want to delete all the unneccessary ones in SLE and etc. I don't know exactly which ones are important and which COULD BE vital to my system, so I haven't messed with them. I waited to make this topic so someone could give me a list of the kexts in SLE and other directories that I can delete/uninstall whatever. Any ideas/suggestions? I just want to keep my install of Mavericks as clean as possible. My setup | | | | | | | | | \ | / \/
Gringo Vermelho
OS X caches and loads only the kernel extensions that are necessary for your hardware. It's better if you make the list yourself. In Mavericks, System Information (formerly known as System Profiler) shows which kernel extensions are loaded. I wouldn't bother though, even if you're low on disk space it won't help much. I guess It's also possible that removing kexts could cause system updates to fail.
