munky
Hi there, I'm trying to install JaS 10.4.7 on a friend's laptop (Fujitsu Siemens Amilo D7850 - P4 2.8Ghz SSE2, SiS chipset). I couldnt boot ANY osx86 install dvds (ApplePS2Controller.kext panic), so i installed thru vmware. When I boot native, it hangs with the same error. I can now boot native, having removed ApplePS2Controller.kext, and can operate the laptop with an external USB keyboard and mouse. The trackpad is non-functional, and if I press a key on the keyboard, the machine kernel panics (multi language 'you have to restart your computer' screen). ive seen a few things around the forum about this, and a few different versions of patched kexts, but nothing seems to help. Anyone had any joy fixing this problem? Cheers
