7210211 Posted October 4, 2006 Share Posted October 4, 2006 Everytime I install any kind of software, MacVidia/Vitural PC, the Installer freezes and the little mouse cursor turns into the colorful ball and spins and spins and spins of forever. Eventually when I have to force quit it and it shows that it's Not Responding... Anyone else have this problem? Anyone know how to fix this problem? Rammjet Posted October 4, 2006 Share Posted October 4, 2006 Go to the Utilities folder and find Installer Right-click on it and select: Get Info Find the "Open using Rosetta" checkbox and check it. jan_187 Posted October 13, 2006 Share Posted October 13, 2006 What I did to fix this in 10.4.7 on an AMD only supporting SSE2 (not SSE3), was to use the maxxens AMD_enabler.zip patch. This also fixed the 'about this mac' crash.
