jagatnibas Posted October 14, 2013 Share Posted October 14, 2013 hi all, i downloadd a vmware image for 10.8 mac and installed vmware 8. my windows laptop is core2duo 2gb. when i started the vm it said "his machine requires hw virtualization" then i searched and got a patch which removes 2 bytes tobypass hwvirtualizatio check. after that this error went away, but it keeps restarting. my question is, is it worth trying to run in a core2duo machine ? as normal mac 10.8 runs properly in core2duo hardware in macmini, whats the problem with this laptop ! please point me to proper link where i can install macos in vmware in windows machine with proper working condition regards Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
