pepto Posted October 11, 2013 Share Posted October 11, 2013 Hi Guys i have tried to install my Sapphire HD5450 with no luck i have tried with the Ati3000x.kext and the ati5000controller.kext but my PC hangs in the boot.I can only boot in safe mode, my vendor ID is 0x68F91002 and they are present in the kext files.I also put aticonfig = Eulemur in my chameleon boot but no luck.Has someone the sapphire HD5450 1GB working on a 10.9 GM, help needed. pepto Posted October 12, 2013 Author Share Posted October 12, 2013 Hi DR Hurt I have it working without the DSDT file i have modified the AMDRadeonX3000.kext and AMD5000Controller.kext of 10.9 GM with the string for my video card 0x68F91002 for 1GB video card. I have put the AMD5000Controller.kext and the AMDRadeonX3000.kext in S/L/E with kext utility. In my chameleon.boot.plist i have GraphicsEnabled on Yes. Thats all what i have done and now i am enjoying QE/CI I can post the DSDT.aml which i have save as you told maybe i can also use it for later updates.
