LAN: Working out of the box WITH Belkin F5D5000 NIC Card,

Onboard Lan chip: VIA VT6103L uses the VT8237 Rhine Driver

which I was warned, is unstable, and it is.....

I strongly do not recommend onboard LAN with this Mother Board, use

the Belkin F5D5000 NIC Card, it works beautifully out of the Box.

With this Belkin Card I am Networked from my Mac Pro to my

Maya Workstation which runs Dual Boot- Windows Pro 2000 and Windows

XP. I can successfully transfer files in both directions. I am also networked

to my Mac G450, running Mac os 9.1 and Mac os 10.1.5. File transfer is

successful in both directions as well.

Can read, write, and transfer back and forth to both drives, and can network these two drives to both my PC Windows Dual Boot system, and my Mac G450, Mac os 9.1 and older Os, 10.1.5 partitions.

*Also note both of these drives can also read, write, and transfer files successfully

to my EXTERNAL USB drives formatted in NTFS format.

I was successful using the following package (2 components):

1. NTSF-3G Driver, 1.1120 [stable] and,

2. MacFuse v1.3.1

Info on this can be obtained here: http://macntfs-3g.blogspot.com/

- Have I Left Anything Out! - Please forgive me if I listed anything inappropriatly.
