Hello to everyone! I'm new on this forum and I'd like to install an Apple OS on my Dell Inspiron 1545 bought back in 2009.

I'm actually a beginner in Apple OS and "Hackintosh" stuff, so any help or suggestion will be really appreciated!

I've tried to follow some guides and I've also tried to install OS X Snow Leopard but the Boot from CD/DVD doesn't start at all. (BIOS Settings with CD/DVD as first Boot option - F12 to select "Boot from CD/DVD" but it doesn't start). So, there must be something wrong but I can't understand what's the problem.

My Inspiron 1545 details to know more about compatibility with Apple OS

Computer - ACPI x64-based PC

CPU - Pentium® Dual-Core CPU T4200 @ 2.00GHz

RAM - 3,00GB Dual-Channel DDR2 @ 399MHz (6-6-6-18)

HDD - 233GB TOSHIBA MK2555GSX (SATA)

Motherboard - Dell Inc. 0G848F (Microprocessor)

Video card - Mobile Intel® 4 Series Express Chipset Family

Internet cards:

Intel® WiFi Link 5100 AGN

Marvell Yukon 88E8040 PCI-E Fast EthernetController

Currently, I'm using Windows 7 Professional 64-bit SP1

As I said, I'd like to install an Apple OS but I don't know which one could work better on my 1545, what do you guys suggest? Snow Leopard - Lion - Mountain Lion ?

Thanks in advance for any help or suggestion!!! :)
