The Shaun
[n00b alert] I installed the JaS release of 10.4.6, and for whatever reason, my GMA900 graphics adapter isn't getting support for QE or CI. I read the thread on QE support, but that was mostly covering other graphics adapters, and I don't really understand anything about kexts and all that. Sorry for being a total n00b, but I'm at a loss considering this was the board that was in the developer machines. That's the whole reason I bought it in the first place! ------ Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 900: Chipset Model: GMA 900 Type: VGA-Compatible Controller Bus: Built-In VRAM (Total): 128 MB Vendor: Intel (0x8086) Device ID: 0x2582 Revision ID: 0x0004 Displays: Display: Status: No display connected ULTRASCANP990: Resolution: 1280 x 1024 @ 85 Hz Depth: 32-bit Color Core Image: Not Supported Main Display: Yes Mirror: Off Online: Yes Quartz Extreme: Not Supported Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/28851-d915gavgma900-1046-problem-qeci/ Share on other sites
Rammjet
During installation, when you chose packages for your computer, did you choose the 10.4.6 GMA900 Support package? http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?act...ost&id=4249 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/28851-d915gavgma900-1046-problem-qeci/#findComment-197915 Share on other sites
