rubenmr Posted March 27, 2013 Share Posted March 27, 2013 Hello i have installed ML 10.8.2 everything works (hdmi audio, full graphics...) except dvdrw drive. I have this drive TSSTCorp SH-S223C. My main board: ASUS P7H55M-LX. Other specs: iMac 11.2, intel core i5, 4GB RAM DDR3. I have DSDT file, and install via [url="http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/279450-why-insanelymac-does-not-support-tonymacx86/"]#####[/url] some fix (3er party sata, jmicron36x ata) but ML doesn't detect it. Maniac10 Posted March 27, 2013 Share Posted March 27, 2013 Ha, I'm not alone after all! It looks like this dvd drive is a pain to use with OSX. Since I bought it I never know if it's working. It's detected maybe 1 out 3 reboots. In the end I learned to live with it, and as I rarely need it nowadays I don't even notice if it's working or not. My only advice, if you really need a dvd drive, buy another one. They're so cheap it's not worth wasting time on. Also, don't even mention tony's tools here, we don't support them.
