DaniFilth
Hi, I've recently bought an used PowerColor HD5770 Eyefinity5 Graphics Card. It gets recognized as ATI 5000 Series with GraphicsEnabler set to off and no AtiConfig set. My only problem is the DVD Player and Steam, they both keep crashing. I found some information about this card on the netkas board, but they say that this card is supported natively by Lion and Mountain Lion. But the DVD Player crashes on Snow Leopard as well as on Mountain Lion. I don't care about the DVD Player, but it sucks not being able to use Steam. Has anyone a hint for me to get this working? eep357
you'll still need some method to enable acceleration. Start simple with just GE=Yes but many 5770 will require you manually choose the framebuffer too. DaniFilth
Any hint on which framebuffer to use? Starting with GE=Yes only shows a blank screen in login. eep357
One of these should work AtiConfig=Eulemur ; AtiConfig=Vervet or AtiConfig=Hoolock btw, can't load netkas forums for some reason, but many times when they talk about card working native, it refers to PC card running on real MacPro and not hackintosh Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/287281-powercolor-hd5770-dvd-player-crashing/#findComment-1899606 Share on other sites
