fantomas Posted March 14, 2013 Share Posted March 14, 2013 in according with Intel Atom D2700 descriptions, we can see that this CPU supports 64-bit instructions but in reality, these instructions are "disabled" by Intel, so logically we can't instal OS X Mountain Lion on it. for OS X Snow Leopard, you will certainly have to patch the original mach_kernel, maybe meklort could give your more help. good luck for your hack Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
theconnactic Posted March 14, 2013 Share Posted March 14, 2013 Hi! Just install the newest chameleon package and, under customize/modules make sure you select the Kernel Patcher module. Then Chameleon will automatically patch the kernel for you on-the-fly, without being necessary to find and replace your vanilla kernel by a modded one. All credits to Meklort.
