sort of doing the opposite to everyone else here :P

due to the limit with windows installations on a hdd over 2.2tb i had to do some things differently,

i didnt use bootcamp and i cant because it refuses to use anything due to the size limit,

windows works, kind of, the sound for some reason sounds terrible i don't know why drivers are installed i

found somewhere, by cirrus logic but they sound nothing like when im running osx, and the wireless "works"

but it drops out and will not connect for ages, so iv'e took me about a week to get the Ethernet working, also the

keyboard functions don't work, any suggestions ? same with the magic mouse other than that love it,

thanks for your help

Yep, I had these same issues trying to do it on a Macbook 5,1.

Go to Apple's website (or Google) and find the bootcamp download that is specific for your machine, download it, and bring it into Windows. Now, explore the contents of that download (right-click and then explore I think).

You should see a drivers folder somewhere in there (may be a subfolder). These are the correct, working drivers for your iMac, and can be installed without bootcamp. Simply extract them to a different folder/desktop and select them as the drivers you want during driver search.

If you have already installed drivers that aren't working, you should rollback your current drivers for any device by opening Device Manager, right-click on the device and clicking Properties, then click Rollback Driver.

Hope this helps!

Hi everyone. I installed MacOS High Sierra on my computer 3 months ago, in January. After a long way to get the computer fully working now I'm facing a new problem: imagine I'm working or doing something in my computer and it suddenly freezes and I have to restart it.  There's no reason why the computer restarts by itself...
Here I also attach my Clover EFI folder in case you need it (it doesn't allow me to attach it so here i give you the link: https://mega.nz/#!92xCiLDZ!WY1F55ZvuP-9WW369EP9KY-3hNLt5sWUgJDxPrbgpPM .
      Thank you in advance.

Hello guys.   As some of you know, the option fast startup cause some problems in dual-boot Hacks, this happens because the Hibernation mode. But is possible you keep the fast startup on, and disable Hibernation: 1 - powercfg /h /type reduced This command line will reduce the size of hiberfile.sys file, in simple words, will cut the file in the half.
Some people recommend solve that by using this command line bellow:
2 - powercfg /hibernate off But if you do that, you'll disable Hibernation and Fast Startup.
Use the first command line in Command Prompt (Admin) above (1º), and you'll enjoy this great resource in your dual-boot.

Hi guys, i'm trying to help a friend of mine trying to install osx(possibly high sierra) on his pc with the following specs:
      Amd fx8350
      Asrock 990fx extreme 3
      8gb of fury Kingston ddr3 ram(2x4)
      Radeon hd 7950
      128gb ssd( crucial m550)
A couple of hdds I don't remember the brand(maybe a seagate barracuda and a dumb old disk for data)
We tried to install it using the regular clover+high showers installer but we couldn't get it to reach the installer, then we tried osx-amd(don't know if i can talk about it there, sorry if i can't) and we still couldn't get to the installer.
Is there a guide i can use to install osx in that machin, i tried to search in the forum but i couldn't find it.
