Greetings to all!

Help, please, understand the beginner with the problem
There is iron:

Laptop Acer ASPIRE 5742G-386G32Mnkk
Processor Intel Core i3 380M 2533 MHz
Processor core Arrandale
Number of processor cores 2
L2 cache capacity 512 KB
Cache capacity L3 3 MB
Chipset Intel HM55
Video processor NVIDIA GeForce 610M 1024 MB GDDR3
Nvidia optimus (Disconnected via SSDT)

PCH_LVDS (0x000e1180): 0x80300302 (enabled, pipe A, 18 bit, 1 channel)

I'm trying to install OSX 10.10.5
I can not get a good Intel HD Graphic 1st generation.

When I install SingleLink, the screen works with artifacts.
When I boot into a safe-fashion screen with the desired resolution, but without QE / CI

I tried to put all the frameworks LW1-4. The screen shows only when LW1.
natit.kext, EDID injection - did not help.
PatchVBIOS is connected, Intel injection is disabled in the clover

Thank you in advance for your cooperation

P.S. Sorry for my english, I'm using a translator

Why not trying everything possible to make the NVIDIA GeForce 610M working ??

I don't think you have a real Optimus with a First Gen Intel Core CPU

I also have i3 380M in my Medion laptop.

SMBIOS - MacBook Pro 6.1
For me 17.3 "display with 1600x900 (Alternate LW1).
Everything works fine in Yosemite and High Sierra.
Disable Nvidia (optimus) in bios or disable it in the DSDT or Bootflag -nv_disable = 1

no natit.kext, no EDID injection here

All kext are too big for upload.

Each 4 Kext from here and my Framebuffer kext from Archiv.zip try (original exchange in S/L/E).

10.12 or 10.13:

And for 10.10.5:

Try this!

OK very nice

Small hint yet. The i3 380M works more stable with VoodooTSCSync.kext in the Clover Kext folder.
With 10.10.5 I get the brightness control with IntelBacklight.kext and DSDT-Patch.
Of course, battery control is model dependent, here with ACPIBatteryManager.kext and DSDT patch everything goes.

Thank you man, your Archive folder worked out for me for my pavilion G7.  I'm grateful for you and Baio777.

Just now realized that my screen is also the hd screen, that explains why the framebuffer kext worked for me MacPeet.. I was just looking some HD screens too on ebay to see if i could replace it. This whole time, i thought it was a regular lcd screen.

try this configplist .....

Of course you must have installed AppleIntelHDGraphicsFB.kext .....

Otherwise start with fake id 0x12345678 install the kext reboot and try ...

download and start this tool HACK INFO http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/306828-guide-installation-mac-os-x-101x-clover-usb/?p=2148392and mail folder zipped, only after have entered my Configplist and restarted

I tried booting with your config.plist. I still cannot boot without fake id 0x12345678. I ran HACK_INFO but it gave me an error saying it cannot access folder. Enclosed is Hackinfo_Report.

ls: /Volumes/EFI/EFI/CLOVER/kexts/10.10: No such file or directory

2018-02-25 16:44:08.060 AllowPasswordPref[628:13075] Hardware Check err == -1

I am running Sierra 10.12.6. I deleted all the folders except EFI/CLOVER/kexts/other. I put all the kexts in /other.

Thank you for helping me.

@GhostRaider @giofrida

I've looked at the patched version of Sierra's native FB kext. It diffs with unpatched at the same 5 locations (for Capitan) and with different LW1.

So I tried a "dirty" patch. Just added a 36 byte Find->Repl pattern which was found in binaries inside the function __ZN22AppleIntelHDGraphicsFB8TrainFDIEiPNS_10CRTCParamsE:

49 8B 8C 24 98 06 00 00 0F B6 51 18 C1 E2 13 41 8B 76 6C 09 D6 41 89 76 6C 89 B0 0C 00 0F 00 41 0B 56 68
B9 FF FF C7 FF 41 8B 56 6C 21 CA 41 89 56 6C 89 90 0C 00 0F 00 41 8B 56 68 21 CA 49 8B 8C 24 98 06 00 00

And it worked.

So we need this patterns for AppleIntelHDGraphicsFB:

0F45C842898C33F00100
90909042898C33F00100
C7030100000048B80A

FFB800600009BE006000040F44F009D6
FFB800600008BE006000040F44F009D6
3C033080
00033080
3049011101100800
3049011105100800

3049010101000800
3049010105000800
498B8C24980600000FB65118C1E213418B766C09D64189766C89B00C000F00410B5668
B9FFFFC7FF418B566C21CA4189566C89900C000F00418B566821CA498B8C2498060000

Also I managed, that all known LW1-4 patched differs only in one byte. And no difference between SingleLink and DualLink patches.

High Sierra's patterns are slightly different. I have to look sometime later.

Hello Guys,

I have Acer Aspre 5742 i5-480M 2.66GHz processor, Intel HD Graphics and 1366 x 768 Res. I have been trying to install High Sierra using clover method but nothing is working.

I have created USB installer using my Ryzen hackintosh HS 10.13.3. I am not sure which kext files I need and which config.plist is compatible with my laptop.

I tried to follow the guide on first page. I only see System/Library but Extensions in USB installer.

Can someone please advice if I can install High Sierra on my laptop.

Thanks

Hi,

I have added all kext files to enable the acceleration into S/L/E and used kext utility to repair and rebuild cache. I still don't get full acceleration. What Am I missing Baio77image.thumb.png.66faf11f3ad908e86d5af56f8e78c335.png

1) The easiest way that you can create an OS X USB installer with Clover is by using Chris111's Clover 2.3K Special Edition V2 Installer (http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/files/file/471-clover-v23k-special-edition-v2/).

Guys, the link doesn't work.. Do you have another link?

You don't really need to actually. The point of using this Clover is to have access to the native installer files, so that you can delete AppleIntelHDGraphicsFB.kext on the installer.

Just use normal Clover and you can insert FakeID and ig-platform-id as 0x12345678, and you're good to go.

I don't know what this means, also, which config.plist should I use?

Grab Clover Bootloader (non-modified), and install it.

When it is installed, create a new config.plist from Clover Configurator. Set the SmBios to MacbookPro6,1 or MacbookPro6,2 in SmBios (I use 6,1 because that one has a nearly identical CPU to my i5-m460, but it shouldn't affect in normal uses) and save to your EFI.

Restart, now, before you press install, there is a Clover screen, go to options, Graphics Injector, in the Intel section, there is a FakeID and ig-platform-id, set it as 0x12345678, then return to the screen where you would choose which thing to boot, choose "Install macOS on Install macOS (version)".

Proceed to install as normal. Remember, everytime the machine restarts, you have to set both ig-platform-id and fakeid as 0x12345678.

(Sorry, my English is terrible and I'm really tired today.)

      DISM is your friend!

Part 1: (For all the computers that don't have UEFI)

Prepare two USB keys, one with El Capitan & one with Windows 10.
First put the Windows USB, during the installation (when it asked the Windows code) press shift + f10 and will open the command prompt:
diskpart list disk (list of your hdd) select disk 0 (0 is number of your hdd) clean (ATTENTION clean all your hard disk selected) convert gpt create partition efi size=200 (creates EFI partition) format fs=fat32 label=EFI We made a EFI partition.
In my Hdd I have 3 partitions ( 1 for Mac, 1 for Windows=Ntfs & 1 in exFat for sharing files between the two systems).
create partition primary size=100000 (1 partition for Mac OS X 100GB) format fs=fat32 quick label=Mac (after we will format in HFS+ with disk utility) create partition msr size=128 (creates Microsoft Reserved) create partition primary size=100000 (1 partition for Windows 10 100GB) format fs=ntfs quick label=Windows (format in Ntfs) create partition primary (creates a partition with the remaining space) format fs=exfat quick label=Hdd (format in exFat) Now the fun part.
We should insert the letters for the partitions. Check
select disk 0 list volume (check the assigned letters, REMINDS the letter assigned to the USB "example d") list partition (check the number of partition EFI "example partition 1") select partition 1 assign letter=h list partition (check the number of partition Windows "example partition 3") select partition 3 assign letter=g exit Then we have the letter "D:\" for the USB, "H:\" for the EFI partition & "G:\" for the Windows partition.
Now we need to copy the installation files from the USB to the Windows partition.
      cd\windows\system32\ dism /apply-image /imagefile:d:\sources\install.wim /index:1 /applydir:g:\ Break....
Now we need the Windows EFI boot files.
cd\ g: bcdboot (check the command line) bcdboot g:\windows /1 en-us /s h: /f UEFI (in my case "/1 It-it") Restart the computer with the Mac USB "Clover bootloader", then select Microsoft EFI and start the installation of Windows 10 in FULL GPT.
If you don't see the exFat partition in Windows don't worry.
(Take a program like Partition Wizard, format the partition in NTFS  and assigns the letter D:\. Now open the command prompt administrator and write:
diskpart select disk 0 list partition (check the partition before-exFat = after-NTFS "example partition 4") select partition 4 format fs=exfat quick label=Hdd Now you must have the partition exfat visible and writable)

      Part 2:

      Important!
Don't format or delete the EFI partition.
From the Mac USB we need delete AppleIntelHDGraphicsFB.kext.

Now we go in to the installation of El Capitan, with disk utility format the partition "Mac" in HFS+ mac journaled, then install Mac OS X.
While starting El Capitan from your hard drive, we must block AppleIntelHDGraphicsFB.kext and AppleIntelHDGraphics.kext. (& add cpus=1 or patch with clover)
      When El Capitan is started:
Patch AICPM with Clover Configurator Install Clover like this  (of course without installation El Capitan) "Legacy mode" Replace the config.plist in EFI partition and add SMBIOS with clover configurator - macbook pro 6.1 Put the DSDT Put HFSPlus.efi, NTFS.efi in drivers64 folder Insert and replace all kext PS:During the first system start we must go in the system preferences, keyboard, shortcuts and change the key combination of brightness (f2- f3+).

      Work:

      Intel Core i5 460M
Intel HD Graphics                                      (Clean graphics without artifacts)
      Wifi & Ethernet                                          (Atheros AR9285 & Realtek 8111)
      Stereo speakers & Microphone                    (IDT92HD81B1X5)
      Keyboard & multi-touch touchpad
      Memory Card Reader
      Camera
      All USB
      Battery
      Sleep & Wake
      Brightness Values
      App Store

      Don't work:

ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5470                      (Blocked by BIOS)
      FaceTime                                                   (With Rom,SN,MLB valid work)
      iMessage                                                   (With Rom,SN,MLB valid work)
      Maps

      Good day,

I'm trying to install OSX El Capitan on my laptop all the time.
I have a laptop with a Intel CORE i5 430M Arrandale CPU and first generation Intel HD Graphics.
The problem is the graphics card.
I have deleted the kext for the graphics card to install El Capitan.
After installing it boots also without error messages, but then comes a graphic error. The graphics error was already before I had deleted the Kext before installing.
The graphics error should not come, however, if I had deleted the kext?

I can install OSX successfully, but when booting comes a graphic error.

I have also searched the Internet for solutions. The solutions I had found only work after a successful boot.

I have tried it with other graphics kext, but without success.

I also have no other computer with OSX.

      Best regards
