Hi there guys and girls,

I have a Toshiba C660-1F1 which I would like to try out installing OSX on. I am too scared to try it out without any help so can you guys help me along? My laptops specs are:

  • PWWAA - Motherboard
  • Intel i3 M380 - CPU
  • 6GB - Ram
  • 320GB sata - Harddrive
  • Intel HD 3000 - Graphics
  • Multitouch PS2 - Trackpad
  • TSSTcorp TS-L663C - DVD-RW drive
  • Realtek RTL8188CE Wireless LAN 802.11n PCI-E NIC - Network

I have seen iAtkos L2 which I would like to try but any help I would be very grateful for!(:

Hi,

A detailled tutorial for beginners can be found here: http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/280756-guide-the-all-in-one-guide-to-vanilla-os-x-mountain-lion-chameleon-dsdt-for-beginners/

It is not the iAtkos method, i believe they provide the tools to restore the image to usb in Windows. So you can skip step 2.

Did a quick search, iAtkos provides a guide for their releases: http://iatkos.me/forum/viewtopic.php?f=73&t=18840

Okay brilliant! In the iAtkos installation it will ask for customization, what options shall I choose (i think they maybe called kexts). Also how would I go about changing my WiFi card if it wont work?

Edit: Okay, I have looked and my WiFi isnt compatible with OSX can you suggest some that are (and that are compatible with my laptop, of course)

Realtek RTL8188CE Wireless LAN

802.11n

PCI-E NIC - Network or
