When i use the link in the Private Pastie i see a download side

is this right? or must click a other button :(

Use the link that Qᴜad posted above. Some download sites try to force crappy downloaders on you and this looks like one of them. When I downloaded it on Windows it tried to give me a exe file so I cancelled that and pasted the url into jdownloader to get the proper zip file.

I've got just one bug: in "About this Mac" my Quo shows 24GB 1600MHz DDR3 (three parts), not the real 16GB (two parts)..

Maybe wrong settings in bios. You must put memory to profile1

It does not work for me. After update, it shows only black screen = no output, nothing. I had to recover BIOS from backup.

Z77MXQUOAOS.H2N.OZ1669M - BASED ON Z77MXQUOAOS.F2N BIOS

This is interesting .. we go from H3C to H2N based on F2N (one wonders about SLI under Win).

Not a good time for me to test it right now but will try to upgrade once i am done with my current project.

Can't wait to see more reports on the new BIOS  from fellow users about :

Fusion Drive

RAID drive

Installing El Cap from scratch

Upgrading Y to El Cap

Filevault (boot drive)

AirPlay

My thanks to anyone who contributed to the new release.

Cleaned last Off Topic posts. Please make a report when this happen again.

Yes but you left the one that made the offtopic, I will quote those.

same issue black screen

Flash BIOS using integrated GPU, then do BIOS setup, and replug your dedicated graphics card!

This should do the trick!

^^ This one.

Looks like there is a bug on SMBios.

From your signature seems you tested the BIOS and not something else...

Post your configuration like number/what displays you have and connected to what ports(Internal GPU? Dedicated GPU? Both?)

Also bdmesg(darwindumper) before flash will help.

Sure, it will be so

THe KING consider (if you are intrested in) to share the uncompressed layoutX.xml, the PathMaps and the pinconfiguration (as well for custom bin patch) used to patch AppleHDA on QUO mobo.. look here, I can add to it to automate the process (also the app can update remotely in case of changes)...

I am using internal GPU with DisplayPort cable. First I thought that could be Thunderbolt/DisplayPort problem, so I tested same display with HDMI cable and got same results after restart. There is complete dupm from DarwinDumper https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/29924102/DarwinDumper_2.9.9.1_Apple_X64_Yos.zip

Now, I am back on H3C.1479.

Thank you.

      Ciao a tutti.
cosa posso fare? grazie a tutti

      Hello guys.
This is not my first hackintosh, but this will be the first time to create a hackintosh with thunderbolt.
First of all, i have read some info about MoBos with Thunderbolt, but im a bit confused.
I need to create a working hackintosh with Thunderbolt 2/3 .

At this moment i know that we got 2 options (Correct me if im wrong),
-we can get one MoBo and ad a Pcie Card with thunderbolt (only if the chipset is compatible)
-we can get one MoBo with thunderbolt integrated via USB-C connectors (like the new Macbook Pro)

What are the possible MoBos that have integrated Thunderbolt vía USB (or directly thundelbolt ports)?
I have read a lot of buyers guides from some webs , but a lot of that MoBos with thunderbolt enabled, are "discontinued" or without stock
Should we only choose Gigabyte MoBos?

I Have been too looking at Gigabyte website, and seems that the Chipset Z170 its the only one with Thunderbolt (vía USB-C)
      ports.

Could you help me with these please?

      Thanks You So Much!

      Hello.

It's been about 3 or 4 years since I built my first, and so far only hackingtosh. I did so fallowing a guide written by good guy ^Andy^, witch came with hardware recommendations. I now feel it's time for me to upgrade to a faster system to keep up with heavier work loads. I'm strongly considering building a hackingtosh around the new i7-6700K Skylake processor, but I haven't come across guides for  this type of processor. I was wondering if any of you could recommend me a motherboard that's compatible and that won't become a hassle when trying to install OS X. Also, if there's a guide you know of, please let me know.

      Thanks in advance.

      Hi,
      I'm currently running a Windows 7 x64 PC with:

      8GB DDR3 Ram

      AMD FX 4170 GPU

      AMD Radeon HD 7870 CPU

      1TB HDD (Windows 7)

      150GB HDD (Blank)

      Gigabyte GA-970A-DS3 Motherboard
I am aware that getting OSX on an AMD machine is not an easy task, but can it be done with my setup?

I am currently running OSX 10.8.3 in VMWare which is OK but lags a fair bit and lacks any kind of 3d acceleration and would like to be able to dual boot it natively alongside windows on the 150GB HDD.

      Thanks

Makes OS X and the installer work with the nForce 430 chipset.

More specifically, allows OS X/installer to see the SATA and IDE (yes, IDE, too!) devices plugged in to your computer, including hard drives and disk drives.

This kext does NOT make nForce LAN or anything else work, just SATA and IDE/ATA HDDs and ODDs.

      ---------------------------

Works great with the Compaq Presario SR55 series!
