Hey guys,

I'm dealing with a nasty problem here as per topic title on ML 10.8, Bios v. 212.

Does anyone have a DSDT that enables FN-Keys & keyboard-backlight control?

If not, is there any DSDT god who feels like helping?

By reading all the documentation on the issue (even from Linux distros) it seems that the fix lies in properly initializing CADL & DIDL.

I tried many things, but nothing works.

I'm calling for help!

Hey man, thanks for the reply!

I think starting from a vanilla DSDT will help everyone who has a Zenbook similar but not exactly the same as mine so...

Here is a vanilla DSDT from the UX32VD just extracted + ioreg output.

Here's a list of things I tried:

- fix PNLF + init CADL & DIDL properly as stated in: https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/ASUS_Zenbook_Prime_UX31A

- remove all offsets in Opregion IGDM

- experiment with AsusNBWMI.kext.zip from this thread: http://forum.osxlatitude.com/index.php?/topic/1968-fn-hotkey-driver-for-asus-notebooks

Nothing worked.

Thanks a lot for your help!
