Dell Vostro 3750 with i7 and Nvidia G525M not installing

1 post in this topic

Hi all,

I'm wanting to get Mountain Lion installed onto my Dell Vostro 3750 with the following specs:

Intel i7 2360qm 2.20ghz

Nvidia GT 525M Graphics Card

8gb Ram

500 GB SATA Hard Drive

However I seem to be having an issue. I've tried both the Iatakos ML2 and the ###### Method but can't even get to an install screen when booting from USB.

In Iatokos ML2 I manage to get to the boot, I press enter and all I get is the Apple Logo and it sticks at that.

With ###### I can enter the boot menu again, I press it but it stays as a black screen.

I've set the hard drive to ACHI but in terms of other BIOS options there just really isn't many.

I've run in verbose mode and noticed it does seem to hang when getting to the graphics card, I'm thinking this is the issue.

As I can't see a hackintosh with a Dell Vostro 3750 I'm wondering if it's even possible?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

James
