Hi guys,

I just installed Mac 10.8 Lion, using VMware on my x64 Windows 7 Home Premium. But there seems to be a lag !

Mac animations are rough, and I'm not sure why it's lagging!

My specs:

HP Spectre XT 13

i5-3317u (upto 2.6Ghz)

HD 4000 (no dedicated graphics)

4GB DDR3 @ 1600 Mhz

Samsung 128 GB SSD

Res. 1366x768

VMWare Workstation 9

Windows 7 shows my video memory around 1696 MB, but Mountain Lion shows only 128MB.

Is there a way to allocate more video memory to Mountain Lion?

Any help would be deeply appreciated !

Thanks

Piyush

VW emulates gfx up to 128 mb and full screensize, when I remember right, 1024 x 768. It is no HD4000 emulation. Therefore no QE/CI. I knew no way to allocate more vide memory. Even if you could allocate more, there is no QE/CI an animations stay laggy to.

I have been having a pretty major issue with my new Hackintosh lately. It has been displaying broken link images in safari (See image 1). It has also had certain areas of artifacting such as the storyboard in Xcode (See image 2). and finally PDFs have been showing up completely blacked out (See image 3). This has been a big issue for me and I was wondering if any of you have had the same problem and have had any luck fixing it. I have already tried display calibration and switching to integrated graphics. Thanks in advance!
