Did you install a dual boot system which has one from Apple together with one from Microsoft?

And you find that the time is not properly synchronized between the two systems?

I think the more efficient way is to perform the solution on the Windows regedit. It's very simple.

( Changing the time zone in OS X does not turn out to be a permanent solution)

1) Boot into Windows

2a) If you are on XP, click Start, Run, then type regedit.exe

2b) If you are on Vista / Seven / Eight, click Start, then type regedit.exe in the search bar

3) Go and find this key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SYSTEM \ ControlSet001 \ Control \TimeZoneInformation

4) Now right-click the mouse anywhere on the white space in the right area and create a new DWORD (32-bit)

5) Well, now you should name the new DWORD RealTimeIsUniversal

6) Double click on the new DWORD whose name is RealTimeIsUniversal and change the value of the DWORD from 0 to 1

7) Restart and boot into OS X. Set the correct time then boot back into Windows. Now, you have set the time of both systems correctly

8) End *** If you want to make the modification directly from OSX, install this pkg (by apple square). **** PKG not tested by me.

      Hello all,

I'm about to build a hackintosh and want to share my findings in that process. Also maybe get some help.

The goal is to have a fast Mac with large disk capacity for image processing and a Windows gaming machine at the same time. The components I chose:
MSI Z390 Gaming plus i5 9600K 6cores with HD630 graphics 2x8GB Crucial DDR4-2666 nVidia GTX650 Ti (will be replaced later by Vega or Navi card) 1TB Samsung 970 Evo plus NVMe + 4TB WD blue Disk as fusion drive
      What is working:
Windows boots and games run. Installation was a bit tricky:
the GTX650 has no UEFI Disk partition has to be GPT since it should be shared between Windows and OSX Windows only installs on a GPT drive if the setup is purely UEFI. I ended up with a 2 screen setup with the secondary monitor on the HD630 being the boot display. The Windows driver uses the GTX650 without problems.
Disabling CSM is important, on MSI this is hidden under the odd entrance "Windows 8.1/10 WHQL Support" that has to be enabled(!).

Booting and Installing OSX from USB stick. I found this post most useful as a starting point. After some trial and error I managed to boot with the HD630 into the installer
The board has bios version 7B51v14, the most recent is not working (will check again when the system runs without error) Clean up EFI folder, update clover, apfs.efi (from osx installation). Clover folder is attached. Onboard ethernet is working with IntelMausiEthernet V2.4.0

      Not working (TODO list):
Fusion drive: Mojave does not support fusion drives. Instead, the installer tries to convert a fusion drive to apfs which, since Mojave, has a similar feature. From command line, I can create a apfs "fusion drive" with some modified commands:
      (will supply later)
However: I seems that afp is buggy when it has to share the disks with other partitions. The plan was to have Windows too on the SSD and a common transfer partition on the spinning disk. Setup of the "fusion drive" was fine, but the installer always crashes without message, presumably in the moment it tries to access the disk. At the moment OSX is installed on a separate disk, will continue to investigate.

HD630: No acceleration, 6MB video memory
GTX650: No output at all, but card is shown in profiler. Thought it would be supported ootb.
Speedstep: CPU power usage around 8W in idle.
      Audio
      USB3
      turn off crappy board illumination

      Hi there.

Previously, I installed Mavericks and Mountain Lion with Niresh's Distros and worked well!

I did shrink like 50gigs of storage for Mac installation, created usb with the help of instruction, changed bios settings, and were ready to rock with dual boot support and every time it worked out without an issue! Though I had my old pc that time.

But I guess, from EL Capitan, things got messier a bit. Now I have to erase things and install mac first and then windows for dual boot.
Also, I bought new pc, so whole bios settings are new to me.

Conclusion : I need the latest Hackintosh with proper dual boot with my Windows 10, and I don't want to format nor erase anything on my HDD, and don't wanna format my windows 10. my father does work on this pc, me too, so please make sure nothing goes wrong, no file losing stuff please. I don't have other HDD so please I need the help. I want to install the mac on this existing windows machine. I could barely format windows 10 drive 'C' only and after mac, I will install windows again, but make sure except drive: C, no other drives get any effect at all.

And also, as I said, my PC is new, telling the specs of this pc, so please mention the bios settings and drivers stuff if possible. Please help me with Bios settings at least if drivers are not possible.

      Motherboard: MSI B250M PRO-VH
      CPU: Core i3 7100 (7th gen)
      RAM: HyperX 8GB DDR4 2400mhz
      HDD: 500GB SATA [GPT Partition]
      GPU: Nvidia 1050 TI 4GB
      Monitor : ASUS VP228 (1920x1080 Resolution)

Another thing, I have ps2 keyboard, will it be ok?

      Please help. Thanks.
