So after some more testing I figured out my PS2 built-in kb doesn't work with AppleUiSupport.efi (because of the built-in AppleKeyAggregator?), so I can't input my password. If I add the separate AppleKeyAggregator.efi the error msg appears as mentioned above, no PS2 kb. I've had to add your "AppleKeyFeeder.efi" to get it working, now with that it's finally okay.

I can use almost all versions. Stuck at the 2nd version only (Mac_OS_X_Lion_10.7.5-Snowleo) that cannot continue. It could be because looking for kext. Not old version Can anyone advise me? Thank you.

Some kernel patches is not verified for 10.6 - 10.7 so we can account these systems are no more supported.

But Clover versions before 5000 probably still support old systems.

I should see ioreg, but from how the config.plist is set you don't seem to have Power Management
If you have reader in fingerprints, you might try adding NoTouchID.kext
SMCLightSensor are you sure you need it?
Have you tried to use the SSDTs proposed here instead of the DSDT

Please, when do you plan to solve the problem of icons and detection of BS Recovery !  Since BS 11.0.1 Release and BS Beta 11.1, the Clover GUI don't show correct icons: os_mac instead of os_bigsur

Working fine on notebook 1, minor thing: Keyboard settings, Display settings are resetted with this update, I had to re-login to iCloud even though I didn't change SMBIOS. At devices it's duplicated, I had two devices with same SMBIOS.

if I understand what you're asking for, you're referring to the double icon in Clover's GUI at boot. Just add name assigned to big sur in
config.plist --> GUI --> Hide Volumes
for example I called it BUG-SUR, added to the hide list and now I only have one entry

Just for information - Clover r5127 and macOS 11.1b1 all OK(except random black screen and POST code 97 as before Solved)!

some one propose a different style of folder? 

 

Or folder blue like Origin Big Sur ?

I'm sorry if the my idea is wrong.

My patched DSDT has the SSDT in it so I don’t need to use and SSDT’s. Power management was working but when I get home I’ll boot and check ioreg. SMCLightSensor is used to dim screen when I unplug power. Without it it doesn’t dim and been working fine. Nothing in my config has changed since reverting back to clover except updating clover versions and kexts.

Finally, Apple So imac14.2 support. I can boot without switching to imacpro1.1. Now it works great.

Thanks  I don't talk about hidden entry. Since Big Sur 11.0.1 Release and on Big Sur 11.1 Beta, the icon os_bigsur is showing as os_mac

Most of the problems I think. Icon will be in the main system. It is not thought to exist in the preboot system. To not display icons correctly As long as we are still booting the preboot system. Icon will not display properly.

Clover take icon based on version number. If it is wrong then it is a bug.

DataHubDxe is used for HWSensors project and some other applications and methods.

But yes, you can live without this.

@PG7 @MICKHAEL and other who did the same : fixing kext loading problem by putting some kext in plugins directory of other kext must be a temporary solution. We can fix that in Clover, I'm sure, even if we hard code for the time being.

Please, do not share over the internet your modified kext, because if you do, we'll start to have problem with people getting kexts without knowing there is unrelated plugins. So again do not share zip of these kext. Instead, let's fix that. The problem is that I asked more than one time to send us the needed order and I got response like "I put them in plugins so that's fine".

Sorry to be ranting here, but NO, that's not fine as a solution. It's fine as a workaround. Please, people who got this problem : open an issue on github, let's fix this and go back to original version of your kexts.

 

Why am I saying this : Do you realize how much time is taken by trying to help people ? All this time is less development time. And if we start having kext with random plugins inside, I'll have a lot of people sending me their debug.log... So please...
