Is it possible to install Windows ISO to SSD partition use clover on legacy BIOS boot and GPT partition scheme?

Doesn't work again,I don't change anything,why this happened?

Figure out why my IDE optical drive doesn't work, clover doesn't inject ApplePCIIDE.kext,I install it with KextUtility in /S/L/E,problem solved.I don't know this instruction #30 explain this thing.

Figure out

	<key>SystemParameters</key>
	<dict>
		<key>InjectKexts</key>
		<string>Detect</string>
	</dict>

Detect - Kexts from /EFI/CLOVER/kexts/ will be injected only if FakeSMC is not present in the kernelcache

http://clover-wiki.zetam.org/Configuration/SystemParameters#InjectKexts

This solved my problem,I install HWMonitor make Clover doesn't inject kexts,is this wiki write by you slice?

But there is another problem,I use sleep and wake up and overclock, here is my overclock settings

CPU Clock Ratio...........................9 x
CPU Clock.................................445 MHz

Voltage Setting Page
CPU VID Special Add.......................+250mV
DRAM Voltage Control......................2.290V
CPU GTL 0/2 REF Volt......................0.63X
CPU GTL 1/3 REF Volt......................0.61X
North Bridge GTL REF Volt.................0.58X

CAS Latency Time (tCL)....................5
RAS# to CAS# Delay (tRCD).................6
RAS# Precharge (tRP)......................6
Precharge Delay (tRAS)....................18

When I use wake up from sleep with 445x9,instant of restart. With 400x9,wake up fine.I think the problem is BIOS use the default settings to overclock 445x9,which only works on 400x9.How can I use wake up and overclock both?

I find out I cannot wake up from sleep with 445x9 in yosemite,so I use

CPU Clock Ratio...........................9 x
CPU Clock.................................430 MHz

Voltage Setting Page
CPU VID Special Add.......................+300mV
DRAM Voltage Control......................2.100v
CPU GTL 0/2 REF Volt......................0.63X
CPU GTL 1/3 REF Volt......................0.61X
North Bridge GTL REF Volt.................0.58X

CAS Latency Time (tCL)....................5
RAS# to CAS# Delay (tRCD).................6
RAS# Precharge (tRP)......................6

wake up from sleep works

300mv 2.338v 63 61 58 5 6 6 18 440x9 yosemite wake up from sleep fail

300mv 2.338v 63 61 58 5 6 6 18 430x9 pass cs:go 8 rounds geek bench 4028

250mv 2.100v 63 61 58 5 6 6 18 430x9 boot fail restart

However there is another problem, with dsdt.aml fix I cannot wake up by keyboard, only by mouse and power button, with clover fix only power button wake up success, how can I fix this?

Why does over/underclocking using Clover cause time lag & audio stutter? (RTC/HPET?)

Is there a way I can fix the lag/stutter? Can Clover somehow compensate for this? (maybe RTC calibration?).

I know its not a clover issue. I'm probably asking for too much, but it would be nice if it were possible...

Thanks in advance :)

Because Clover is not changing neither BusSpeed nor Cpu Speed. It can only tell to system what are these values. If these value will be over/under their real values then the system will work abnormal: lags, hangs, Audio squeak,  scratch.

one more question windows is installs with clover only from DVD not usb or bootable usb

???

I did with DVD ISO9660+Joilet.

I think USB is also possible. Why not?

Question - after being unavailable for so many days do we now conclude that the website "Project OS X Forums" is  finally dead and buried?

It was useful from a Clover perspective, full of information but badly organised and administered.

Slice, too bad the Project OS X Forums are dead.

I found the "Clover Changes" pages very useful in particular.

Any plans to maintain this important (imho) information elsewhere? Maybe on these forums?

Riley, I can see that, but that seems like only a fraction of the information. Still think a dedicated thread with further explanations would be very helpful

Yes, on these forum. As far as there will be significant changes compared to 3100 revision.

I mean this instructions             #46

You have to start Clover and then choose bootgmr.efi from /EFI/microsoft/...

USB or DVD may not be bootable because we tell about UEFI boot.

But there is a question. If you made USB with Rufus then where will be Clover?

@InsanelyDeepak + Slice

I'm not expert but i made some test for install Windows (Uefi bios), I always used Rufus my advice is star Rufus USB Win from bios not from clover (only for first installation) because when I started Win8 installation from clover it has created Microsoft folder, needed to start Windows, good for legacy but not for UEFI). You can also create DVD to install Win8 without UEFI mode (I don't know why) and you can see Windows partition from Mac preferences/Boot Disk.

@Slice
Advice for C3Latency, in config.plist we need use decimal value or hex value?

You said:

Typical values from native Mac: (IvyBridge)

MacPro5,1 - 17

MacPro6,1 - 67

iMac13,2 - 205

MacBookPro9,2 - 198

but I'm using 0x43 for my E5-1620v2 (MacPro6,1 Smbios)

Advice for Haswell + Macpro Smbios?

Any Mac Haswell standard values?

Thanks

After hearing that OpenCore is so much better than Clover, and that it will probably be able to boot Big Sur before Clover does, I decided to take the jump.

      Running Catalina 10.15.5 18F101 with OC 0.5.9.

So far I like the result. The OS feels faster, boots faster.
And absolutely everything works (sleep, network, etc...)

So, that's it? Is there anything else I have to do?
