Hy 2 day's i trie to find out how i can install tiger os on my pc. but can't find it anywhere.

I own a asus p5-rd1-vm mainboard with integrated uli1573 sata (raid is possible) I have a maxtor 250 gig serial ata (16MB) intels dualcore 2,8 ghz 4mb cache lg dvd burner. I tried 2 day's realy to intall osx but every live dvd or install disc i download does not have uli1573 sata drivers integrated and I can't seem to get what i have to do. I'm not very familiar with mac, just bought a couple a weeks ago a almost brand new g3 imac to see what it is all about, I'm fot sure when it works i never want windows again. I tried ubuntu also late in the night and guess what, uli1573 sata is supported.

Please help me out,

I can;t wait much longer.

Thanks allready Tim B.

youre kidding right? So I spend more then 2 day's and nights to try if it wil work & now someone say's it's not possigle? How come? how come that other mainboards can boot and install from there sata harddrive?

I'm zo done with asus, first they give me a doa mainboard then after the mainboard was replaced they charged 64 euro, the bios is not what a real bios looks like i've so many bios update's that I have revision 1002 now and performance? no way, maybe I expect to much of intel's dualcore with 2 gig of ram, when I builded the system this system was way over my budget, but you don't build a new pc for yourself everyday so I think it was worth all it's moneybut now think not and the technical support is that much you can't even find something about osx on their website. Asus alway's was a good brand next time it won't be asus again for me, I'm not a gamer but usualy work with appz like adobe and osx is the best solution when I mean fully supported OS.

Maybe I'll be another mainboard, anyone suggestions it have to be a micro ATX with ddr2 slots on it en a socket 775 and give much better support and performance than my crappie asus.

I saw lot's of people on the forum with same problem most of them got asus mainboard.

O, I'll remove my phonenumber myself, really thougt to get it working today, installerdisc seems to be very good.
