Curtis-m Posted July 13, 2013 Share Posted July 13, 2013 I've just purchased this laptop last week and since then i have been trying to install ML to no avail. I've tried [url="http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/279450-why-insanelymac-does-not-support-tonymacx86/"]#####[/url], a Post-Install pack on OSX86 (dot) net and various other methods. I now understand that the basesystem.dmg needs to be restored to a usb and not the entire ML app but i found a really useful tool called 'LionDiskMaker' which takes care of the entire restoration process but i am having difficulties getting past the initial boot sequence. It mainly appears to be relating to the intelcpupowermanagment kext but i can't quite work it out. I will later upload a detailed, step-by-step process on how i have attempted to install ML and hopefully one of you guys may be able to point me in the right direction. I Appreciate all the information the OP posted but it really is of little help so i will be working on a full, step-by-step guide. Thanks guys.
