Well, nice job. This one has my vote. Guys, anyone reading this please take note, if you like a machine YOU NEED TO SAY - YOU GOT MY VOTE! :wink2: It's great to say the words - "awesome" "great job" "fantastic build" - but if you don't say - YOU GOT MY VOTE - I can't count that as a vote. Please vote... Thanks... :)

Really nice build. I know that there is a lot of sweat equity in this build as the whole painting process is laborious for a nice paint job. A good job is much more than just a couple of spray cans of paint. The water cooling and custom panel work a definite plus! Clean lines and the custom work only adds to the MOD. Very well done. YOU GET MY VOTE! :thumbsup_anim:

Punk nugget, i know that here's not the place, but do you think consumer grade setups like mine can also benefit from underclocking? Or it's only for Xeons with ECC memory? If it's possible for consumer CPUs, where do i find a good tutorial on underclocking?

You can find it here:

Please read through that link thoroughly twice over before you take the step into the UC'ing world. Hope that helps, later... B)

Does it work oob, Rampage?

Not the NIC but with the Intel Ethernet kext from hnak App Store, iCloud, and FaceTime work (As long as you have a SMBIOS installed). I have done extensive testing with X79 motherboards and I know that with that kext EthernetBuiltin=Yes is not need. Just for fun I do have the DSDT patch in my DSDT but that is just there for testing purposes.

I hope this user is using my DSDT from my Asus DMG.
