daslicht
Hello, I just got a PowerColor SCS3 HD6850 1GB Passiv. Currently I have no Graphic card included in my dsdt. My org.chameleon.boot.plist includes: <key>GraphicsEnabler</key> <string>y</string> <key>AtiConfig</key> <string>Bulrushes</string> <key>AtiPorts</key> <string>4</string> The graphics work and the framebuffer gets loaded but the Mouse Cursor jumps around when moving. Anyone like to help me to get this fixed , please? Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/284122-powercolor-scs3-hd6850-1gb-passiv/ Share on other sites
rockinron_1
Changing the framebuffer can affect the cursor and make it lag (don't ask me why - can't remember). Try getting rid of the ATIConfig key and adding: UseAtiROM Yes Failing that try setting the framebuffer to Gibba / try all the ati 6xxx framebuffers. One should work, if your very unlucky and it doesn't work see here & good luck: http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/273937-guide-getting-xfx-hd6850-connectors-to-work/page__hl__%20hd6870 As a temporary measure disable graphics enabler (change it to no) and you should be working fine with no framebuffer (couple of games / dvd player won't work but thats it) Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/284122-powercolor-scs3-hd6850-1gb-passiv/#findComment-1864781 Share on other sites
