Rampage Dev
Use my guide here: http://rampagedev.wordpress.com/2012/06/30/how-to-extract-your-own-dsdt-3-2/ If this does not work your install is corrupt.

Rampage Dev
Do UEFI boards need patched dsdts? Yes, there are various edits that are still needed to make the system work properly (as desired). Since SMBus kext does not load on any UEFI motherboards (or any others for that matter) it is my opinion that it is still needed.
theconnactic
Good to know that! I always inferred from what i've read that, on UEFI boards, dsdt patches could bring more problems than solutions. Maybe the dsdt way helps me solve the misterious freeze-after-wake issue of my otherwise perfectly working GA-H77 DS3H UEFI motherboard. I'll start researching now. Thank you, Rampage! Rampage Dev
Have you been using a DSDT or no? Post one if you are using one.
theconnactic
Hi, Rampage! No, i'm not. As i said, since i read my board, being UEFI, should work oob - and this indeed is true, except for this freeze-after-wake and for the fact my two USB 3.0 only accept USB 3.0 devices and refuse 2.0 ones - i simply never thought about it. Just swallowed the issue, lol. But now i'm really thinking about going the dsdt way. Thank you.
