This tutorial should work with all the variations listed on Hewlett-Packard's Website.

1. First of all, you need to get the iAtkos v7, which you can get from torrent websites. Any snow leopard distros (Hazard, iAtkos S) will refuse to boot, so you are stuck with leopard (However, I did not try any other leopard distros than iAtkos).

2. When you have burned the ISO to the disk, boot from the cd drive (press F9), and in the darwin prompt (press F8), input the following flags:busratio=20 -v. After 5-10 minutes (if all goes well) you are looking at the installation screen. Before you continue, format your hard drive with disk utility, located at the utilities menu. Choose your HDD and click on the "Partition" tab. From the dropdown menu that says "current", choose the amount of partitions you want on the disk, name the partition(s) whatever you please, and press apply.

3. Choose the partition you want the os to be installed, and press continue, and from the next screen, choose customize.

Make sure the following options are ticked:

Bootloader>Xiezhy booter

X86 Patches>/Extra, DSDT, Decrypters>AppleDecrypt, Disabler, Kernel>Voodoo 9.7.0

Drivers>System>Sata/Ide>ATI Sata/Ide PS/2 Mouse/keyboard>Apple PS/2 Driver, Laptop battery, Network>Wired>Realtek (tick the main tab)

After you have ticked all the above options, choose Done, and then install.

4. After a while you should see a screen with a large green tick. Click restart. Remove the dvd from the drive once you see the "press esc for startup options" screen.

5. Press enter when you see the gray screen with the choise to boot from cd or HDD, choose the partion with os x on it.

6. You should see the gray apple logo for a minute, after that you should see the welcome screen. Go trough it. You should be on your os x desktop.

What works after installation

-Ethernet (requires a restart to work, should the computer "sleep" or cable get unplugged during use.)

-Battery indicator (time and percentage)

What does not work:

-Wireless (use os x supported usb dongle)

-Audio (Use os x supported usb dongle)

-QE/CI (Unsupported video card)

-VGA and HDMI ports (no video)

-Sleep (screen stays on, wired network stops working after "waking up"

-Shutting down and rebooting work sometimes, sometimes get stuck and require a forced shutdown.

Optional: To toggle full native resolution, press f8 on the boot loader, and boot with the following flag: "Graphics Mode"="1366x768x32". If all goes well, you should see mac os x desktop with full resolution. You can (and should) add the graphics mode flag to the com.apple.boot.plist file if it works. NOTE: Should you enter the boot flags in the com.apple.boot.plist file, you need to press f8 twice and then enter on the bootloader, because otherwise it will not read the com.apple.boot.plist for whatever reason.

You should also turn sleeping and shutting the hard drives off from the energy options.

That's it! You should now get some ice tea and mud cake. You deserve it. Hope this helps someone! :wink2:
