dolphinaura
I currently have a vanilla Lion 10.7 installed. What Ive done to get it running 1. Bought Lion from App Store 2. Got it on a flash drive. 3. Installed on second HDD (removed others, this is now the only HDD) 4. Used USB to boot to second HDD (removed others, this is now the only HDD) 5. Installed kexts and chameleon to allow it to boot. 6. Full screen/QE/CI Achieved The computer was just reset, so the BIOS is in the default configuration. It is the newest version currently. Hardware that has been added: ASUS EN210 Silent 1GB What I can't get working: - DSDT (ends up getting stuck at FSCK, removing it causes it to be still stuck in the same place, even if I move nullcpupowermanagement back) - Sleep (does not work with sleepenabler) - Sound (AD1988B) Any ideas on this? eep357
Being stuck at File System Check doesn't sound like a DSDT problem, improper shutdown or safe boot will do this, usually if you wait long enough for it to complete the check and do any repairs on your disk, it will continue booting. Sleep does need good DSDT, sleep enabler's will work sometimes but tent not to most times, and even then will only work for one specific version of OSX. Upload a clean unpatched DSDT and IOreg. Don't know about audio, but a lot of people have that, so should be easy to find info
