mathq
Hello! My computer shuts off as soon as Chameleon is done loading all files and kernel. I don't have time to take any picture, because it just instantly reboots. I've tried many things: PCIRootUID=1, cpus=1, maxmem=2048, busratio=19 and many more If anyone could help, it would be highly appreciated! Thanks, xmath279 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/283133-instant-reboot-core-i5-540m-laptop/ Share on other sites

iFIRE
this is a problem with SMBIOS, try a SMBIOS of lasted model of Apple, see app Chameleon Wizard Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/283133-instant-reboot-core-i5-540m-laptop/#findComment-1877982 Share on other sites
K0gen
I have managed to fix this by changing bios settings to default and disabling all devices in I/O Port Access. Booting OSX and re-enabling them again. setting: Security > Memory Protection > Execution Prevention [Enabled] in ThinkPad Setup Edited February 2, 2013 by Kogen Mantis Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/283133-instant-reboot-core-i5-540m-laptop/#findComment-1878317 Share on other sites
