dprinse
Hello all! I successfully installed Mac OS X 10.8 Mountain Lion on my PC. I got almost everything working proper. The only thing I can not get working is my sound. My system configuration is: Motherboard: MSI X58 Pro-E Graphics: ATI Radeon HD 5870 Sound: Realtek High Definition Audio ALC889 Ethernet: Realtek PCI-E Gigabit RTL8169 RAM: 3x 2GB DDR3 Kingston 9905458-011.A00LF Optical: Optiarc DVD RW AD-7240S Storage: 1x 500GB Western Digital WD5000AAKS-22A7B0 1x 1000GB Western Digital WD10EARS-00Y5B1 1x 2000GB Western Digital WD20EARS-00MVWB0 CPU: Intel Core i7-930 (2.80 GHz, 4.80 GT/s, 8M Cache) I already tried to get it working with ###### and I've searched all over the web but nothing will work for me. I also searched a DSDT for my motherboard but with no luck. Now I tried to make my own DSDT but when I create one, DSDT Editor keeps warning me for some thing but I'm not sure what kind of warnings it are. Can you help me to get my sound working? Many thanks! Rampage Dev
Extract your DSDT using my guide here: http://rampagedev.wordpress.com/2012/06/30/how-to-extract-your-own-dsdt-3-2/ Then get your IOreg using my guide here: http://rampagedev.wordpress.com/2012/07/20/how-to-use-ioreg/ Then post the files here.
