I wouldn't quite say July is "over" quite yet, and wouldn't be surprised to see it released on the last day of the month. On a somewhat related side note, today is Lion's 1 year anniversary! So some kind of celebration is in order, a romantic dinner at the zoo perhaps?

How true, actually. I recently bought an ASUS 1225B. Windows 7 runs incredibly slow on it.

I didn't even try to install OS X, but I did install Linux Mint Debian, which runs very nicely.

But, for instance I can't watch Silverlight streamings. The necessary plug in is not made by Microsoft, it is made by mono and it is very outdated.

Edit: actually this could be a good explanation why Moonlight doesn't work: http://ubuntuforums.org/showpost.php?p=9901623&postcount=7
