[Solved] Lion and MLion GM installation

Hi,

I am using a HD with 4 partitions.

- 1st: Lion 10.7.4

- 2nd : MLion (not yet installed)

- 3rd: Data

- 4th: MLion GM Base System

In order to install MLion I followed the Guide in this SubForum ( http://www.insanelym...howtopic=277015 ).

When I boot from partition 4, Chameleon (version r2003) comes always back to the first page of the Boot Loader.

I have tried with different Chameleon versions, same result.

Any help is appreciated

Hi apple32,

I already try it. (Chameleon Trunk 1820)

No success.

boot with -v and post the last message before the restart.

Hi JamesLittler,

I post all the -v. Maybe it can help.

Update your chameleon to 2012 using chameleon wizard (use the dropbox link). I know 2012 is good as it's the version I'm using.

Post your org.chameleon.boot.list.

Post your system spec.

Might have something to do with boot flags/bootloader if it won't get past loading the kernel.

Hi JamesLittler,

No luck. Tried with Chameleon Wizard and Dropbox Boot0. Chameleon is now v2012.

see my org.chameleon.Boot.plist

<key>arch</key>

<string>i386</string>

Thats what the issue is. There is no 32 bit support at all after DP2. Remove this line and try to boot into the install.

Hi Here_To_Help,

Great job, works like charm !!!

Thanks a lot !!! :thumbsup_anim:
