applehacks
Here I am showcasing my Powermac G5 conversion. This is a first attempt using a beat up G5 case that a friend gave me. My hardware; I5 2500K 4.2GHz Gigabyte Z68XP-UD4 Corsair H40 CPU Cooler 16GB Komputerbay 2000MHz @ 1866MHz CiT 500W PSU Powermac G5 Case Lian Li ATX Tray 128GB SSD 1TB HDD 250GB HDD ATI HD5770 1GB This is running dual boot Windows 7 Ultimate and Lion 10.7.4 everything working apart from random CMOS reset under sleep and no HDMI audio unroll I perfect my DSDT skills. Currently waiting on a front panel I/O connector from BlackCH to finish it off. No DSDT or SSDT in use at the moment. Any questions? Job (almost) done!
applehacks
Now running mountain lion with BlackCH front panel connector installed. I have upgraded the graphics card to a GT640 2GB, installed a custom DSDT, SSDT etc. Sleep now works along with DVD player etc.
