seanmcgpa
I am having speed issues with Mountain Lion. Is anyone else? I have an i7-2600k at 4800ghz on an Asus P8Z68-V Pro, patched bios 3402. Geekbench64 rates me at over 17,000 in Lion 10.7.4 and only 11,000 in Mountain Lion. Weird thing is I have another rig : Asrock Z68 Extreme 4 with an i7-2600k that Mountain Lion has no problems running at 4800 GHz, and I'm getting Geekbench64 scores identical to Lion. I'd be happy to use speedstepper to do the necessary patching : is one available for ML GM?
juanerson
This one worked perfect in DP4, which has 11 instances of MSR registers to patch... So, it should works in GM too. Good Luck.
Retsckor
seanmcgapa, how were you able to install ML on your as rock board?
seanmcgpa
I have a couple boards, the Asrock Z68 Extreme 4 and the Asus P8Z68-V Pro. The Asrock works perfectly. The Asus works but I can't get speedstepping to work ... so my 4.8 ghz overclock just sits at 3.4 ghz. Both use an Intel i7-2600k. I used Myhack to install both.
