antares_mx Posted July 5, 2012 Share Posted July 5, 2012 Help to install MacOS X 10.7.3 on DELL Inspiron Lion 620s How about you all, I have the following problem, installing Mac OS X 10.7.3 Lion by Niresh12495, to boot the installation DVD hangs and only appears at the end of the legend “Still Waitin Root device” I tried several options to start, -v, -x –v, etc., without getting start the installation, there's one on the motherboard of the PC, the BIOS does not have the option to change channel SATA hard drive - IDE – AHCI. Then I show tola information from the PC: DELL Inspiron 620s Main Board: DELL Model 0GDG8Y Chipset Intel Southbridge Intel H61 Equipo: ACPI x64 Processor: Intel Core i3 2130 3.30 Ghz. Socket 1155 LGA Sandy Gridge Memory: Kingston PC3 DDR3 1333 4Gb. Hard Drive: Seagate ST500DM002-1BD142 ATA Device 500 Gb. 7200 rpm Video: Intel HD Graphics 2000 (GT1) Audio: Intel High Definition Audio (Conextan HD Audio) Network: Realtek PCIe GBE (RTL8111/8168B) Gigabit Wireless Network: Atheros AR9285 802.11 b/g/n I hope I can help with any alternatives Leon to install on my PC. I have patched A04 Bios for DELL Inspiron 620S and i got AHCI option enabled ... I Have installed OSX Lion on my HDD and it works fine ...
