Snow Leopard on Vaio VPCEB3M1E info needed

Hello folks,

 

I have sold my macbook pro last month and I really miss OSX at some point, especially when it comes to audio and video editing.

 

I have this Sony Vaio VPCEB3M1E where I am running ubuntu on it, and it'd be really nice if I could get Snow Leopard to work on it.

 

I am totally new on the Osx86 scene so I will try to provide as much hw info as possible.

 

It's an Intel Core i3 370M / 2.4 GHz with an ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5650 gpu.

I have this notebook and I installed working OS X Snow Leopard.

 

To install you need BootCD (I used UniBootX from Polish forum about OSx86), retail disk of OS X (not from Macbook) and format disk to GPT.

Then you install clean system without any kexts/mods. Boot from BootCD. After this you update system to 10.6.8 and before restart you must rollback AppleACPIPlatform.kext and IOPCIFamily.kext from 10.6.7 and you must install FakeSMC.kext. After reboot you can install Cameleon (I use ChameleonWizard) and generate DSDT. Patch DSDT for our WiFi card. Install VoodooHDA.kext and ApplePS2Controller.kext and one more to use PS2. Reboot. Sound and keyboard should work. After this we can work with graphic and USB. To work USB in org.chameleon.boot you must write USBBusFix=Yes (in chameleon wizard is option to chect). Next install kext for ATI graphic from Lion. and in org.chameleon.boot write section GraphicEnabler=Yes Ati=Hoolcock. Reboot with monitor conected od VGA. With SwitchResX 4 ser resolution to 1366x768. on thi moment you have working OSX on this notebook. Use smbios.plist and SMBIOS.kext to correct working wi-fi. I don't know to work sleep because I didn't work about this.
