Toshiba SATELLITE L755-1GH

Recommended Posts

Hi everyone

Sorry if my post it's in the wrong section or that my first post it's to ask for help, but since I've searched the forum and couldn't find what I was looking for, I've decided to ask for it...

So here's my problem. I have a Toshiba Satellite L755-1GH and I've installed iATKOS L2 and (almost) everything works fine. There is no sound, the graphic card isn't detected (although I have the right resolution but I guess I will encounter problems in the future, since I have to use all the stuff from Adobe and video apps as well), the wi-fi can detect wireless connections but can't connect to them. These three things I really need to make them work but I can't make them to work.

The soundcard I don't know which one it is, but I guess it's a realtek, not sure, but when I installed the ones in the iATKOS L2 installation, it didn't work. The wi-fi it's a Atheros, if not mistaken, since I usually installed the drivers from Atheros in Windows 7. The graphic card it's a nVidia GT525M (as you can see in my signature).

I've searched for the drivers in InsanelyMac but I couldn't find them, so if anyone knows where they are, in here or outside, I would be very grateful. Or maybe, if they doesn't exist or something like that, would be grateful to know that :)

Thank you in advance

      Toshiba Satellite L755 1j2 Hackintosh

Download This file. It contains the zip file with everything you need for the installation.
      • A Toshiba Satellite L755 1j2– This is necessary to install macOS Sierra for this tutorial
      • A copy of Mac OS X – This can be in the form of an existing hackintosh, a virtual machine within Windows or Linux, or even a regular Mac. If you don’t have any of these things, then find someone who can help you out for a while. I prefer using a hackintosh with OSX El Capitan, Using an already working copy of Mac OS X either in a VM or a native hackintosh install is HIGHLY recommended.
      • A 8GB USB flash drive (or larger) – We’ll be copying the files to the drive appropriately, so make sure that you have a flash drive with enough storage space (8GB or larger).
A copy of macOS Sierra – The method used by this guide requires that you have a copy of the macOS Sierra Installation app, wich is available for free from the Mac App Store. This is for an clean install.
      1. My Specs
My installation was successfully done on an Toshiba Satellite L755-1J2

      Buongiorno a tutti,

      Hey Guys
I desperately need help, and before you advice me to search web, I should say in my defense that last 3 days the only things I did were multiple re-installation of OS X with different sets of kext selections and tweaking with commands before system boot(found on web) - nothing worked for me so far.
Now about my problem - I have a following setup:
      Tecra A10 Notebook
      4GB DDR2 of RAM
      P8700 C2D Processor 2,53Ghz
      Nvidia Quadro NVS 150M
      OS X 10.8.2 Mountain Lion v. 12С54; Darvin/x86 boot v5.0.132 - Chameleon v2. 2svn r2140 (Installed from iATKOS image)
Problem is that I can't figure out why my graphic card doesn't want to work properly.

Installation is successful, however when system boots, it either panics with a message to restart the pc or black screen is shown, however sound is playing, which indicates that system is not in panic.

In case if I enter nv_disable=1 key before the system starts, system successfully launches, with sound support of keyboard and mouse drivers.

And it would seem that what else I should be worried about - why am I complaining?
Well, it's lags in browser and other graphic applications - that's my concern. I am unable to scroll normally in any browser(be it Safari, Firefox or Google Chrome), and if I click 'Notifications' button on the system bar, right menu with lags and red lines is shown up for 1,5 seconds, after which it disappears.

I did some research, and found out that it's VESA mode I am using, when I enter key nv_disable=1 and it causes all of lagging.

I can't use system normally with such problem, and I desperately need some OS X version that will work without such problems or an advice how to fix this problem for ML 10.8.2 - my job depends on this.

If anyone can help me with some advice - please do.

I also should say that the reason I chose the iATKOS image is for it's Chameleon boot - I am not fond of Clover, and it's too complicated with it's tweaking.

If you need any screenshots from console during the system boot, I will gladly provide them.

I tried installing "Yosemite" from "Hackintosh Zone" since i can't find any other ISO's around, my machine was the good old Toshiba Satellite L40-17S, i noticed few issues while getting kexts/driver for it versus, on the "Mountain Lion" install, it found my ethernet as soon as i got the ethernet kext installed, and it was able to surf, but then once i introduced the Intel's GPU to the play with my HackBook, it didn't go too well, i got 4 duplicates of that same screen and that was the same thing on the Yosemite, legit, i got the right driver for it, but how i knew it was real? Well, when i installed it, at first restart, it worked fine and was able to find my monitor and the actual resolution, but after few restarts or maybe leaving the PC off for a while affected it. And thanks to some people from my earlier posts, i got the drivers and some post's were about my HP notebook, which of course (Horrible-Product) doesn't go too well with OS X, a year ago, i got it to work, but i didn't have a external drive at the time and i had a usb flash which fitted my "Yosemite", although they weren't mine, they were from this YouTuber:https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCpL5iGHPk9ZdeU9LYAK5K0g he had those files. He even had the VM images, but at the time they didn't work properly until i messed around with CPU settings, and i don't remember them. But once i got this PC to reassemble, i was thinking, "Can i put Hackintosh on this thing?" until i got Windows 10 on this i found out it was a 32bit PC but, it had a 64bit CPU, and when i checked their site, it shows i was right, it will work! So this is where i am today and i only have from "Mountain Lion" which i was guessing because of the release date of the system and my laptop, to "Yosemite" which is their latest version on their site and you can still find it at:https://www.hackintosh.zone/category/18-hackintosh-iso-hackintosh-distro/ . And if you visit the site you can't find "El Capitan" and, "Sierra" since they might have forgot to update the site or, they are working but its hardly taking to develop. Plus the earlier images from "Yosemite" are from "Niresh", but the "Yosemite" is from them. And i was quite sad that they haven't released anything yet. So does anyone have the ISO for "El Capitan" or "Sierra"
