Disk Warrior shot up a hardware error ("5, 1502" whatever that means) with my boot drive yesterday and now I'm wondering, in the process of replacing this drive (because hardware failure will be complete failure with hard drives), if there's a way to create a bootable installer thumb drive with NVIDIA's WebDrivers so I can actually see a screen.
Also, I'm hoping that after a clean installation I can use my Time Machine backups to get my system back to where it was? TIA for your patience.
This strange thing happens on my hackintosh each time when Adobe Premiere or Apple Motion are working. Also I've found that uTorrent may also cause this s**t. Does anybody have the same problem?
Nvidia web driver works just fine
Could someone enlighten me/us about what exactly happens and in which order when the kernel sees the one or other system definition, f.i. MacPro6,1.
Is there maybe a plist file for each profile which governs which kexts have to be loaded and those that shouldn't?
My Spectre X360 is set to UEFI mode. I made a UEFI Windows 10 bootable usb using Rufus, set to GPT for UEFI mode. My laptop doesn't see the usb when in UEFI mode. When I set to Legacy Mode, it is seen. I tried different flash drives. I tried manually formatting the flash drive. Nothing works. Any ideas?
