Wayland
Ok, so on the Mac Pro, I will be doing video editing. Now do I really need 2 gigs? Or will I not see a big difference between 1 and 2 Gigs? Just asking What would be the big difference? Either way it's not a huge deal, because I could always add ram later... but this way it's OEM, and that may be smoooother Thanks! Wayland
I think there is a big difference!! That really doesn't help, in what way?! I have a OSX system with 512 ram, one with 1 gig, another with 2 gigs, and when it comes to going through my videos, they are about equal. The 512 of course has some slowdowns and bottlenecks, but between the 1 gig and 2 gig, I haven't noticed too much. I can notice it on PCs ALL the time, but not so much on macs. So would someone give some GOOD insight? Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/27971-mac-pro-mem-what-to-get-and-why/#findComment-191189 Share on other sites
jgrimes80
For people like myself using video/presentation software in the background with a 3d Cad program upfront, I can safely say it's beneficial...
