blahsucks
Virtual PC has several optimizations and such, so it's generally considered to be faster. Not to mention the fact that Microsoft itself produces VPC.. http://www.microsoft.com/mac/products/virt...x?pid=virtualpc Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/2795-deleted/#findComment-17739 Share on other sites
blkblt
With Mac OSx86, what's needed is something like VmWare, where there is no real "emulation" going on at all. Using one of these programs, you will end up converting the Windows x86 code to PPC code, and then Rosetta will convert it back to x86. Not my idea of speedy. /blkblt Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/2795-deleted/#findComment-17750 Share on other sites

DrJägermeister
Hi all, I just tried Bochs, it works . It's 5-10 times slower as the same HD image in Linux with Kqemu & qemu. To run Win95 it's fast enought (like a 100Mhz PC), if I try something XP or Suse Linux it's too slow. For testing some small apps with W95 it's OK. Here's a screenshot Bochs runing in OSX86: Greetz from France DrJägermeister P.S: I also tried qemu, it doesn't work Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/2795-deleted/#findComment-19318 Share on other sites
