Blijfiguurpaul
Hello! I want to install Snow Leopard on my PC. I'm using this link for that: http://www.ihackintosh.com/2009/09/install-snow-leopard-106-on-amd-pc-hackintosh/ But I have done everythink it said, but if i want to boot from that snow drive, I get the message: Darwin/x86 boot v5.0.132 4095MB memory VESA v2.0 32MB (V M ware, Inc. VBE support 2.0) / Non-system disk Press any key to reboot I' ve installed it on a IDE drive. I'm using VMWare Workstation 8. Please, does anyone know the solution? I've tried so many times to install SNOW leopard, but nothing works. My specs: CPU: AMD FX 4100 (4x3.6 GHz) ( in my virtual machine 3x3.6GHz) MB: ASUS M5A78L LE GPU: GEFORCE 9800GTX RAM: 8GB DDR3 ( in my virtual machine 4GB ) HDD: 3x500GB, SATA, raid0 configuration (3+0) Thank you everyone! Gringo Vermelho
If you are trying to install OS X on a virtual machine, your physical hardware configuration is 100% irrelevant, as long as it meets the minimum requirements for the virtual machine software (some require a VT-x capable CPU for example, or whatever the AMD equivalent is of that). Because the "virtual" hardware that's presented to the guest OS is the same for everyone, you can use the same instructions and files as everyone else who's running OS X in VMWare Workstation 8. Look for help in the "multi booting and virtualization" sub forum.
