Arg... Losing my hair over this one! :wallbash:

I can't seem to get the installer running on my PC. (Specs at bottom of post)

I've tried both iAtkos v7 and the hazard distros. Same EXACT problem.

I get to Loading Darwin x86, then my PC restarts.

I put it into verbose mode to see what came up, and I get past about 5 lines, then I see a little pause.

After that 3 lines come up, each saying that ahci or something, telling me that it was detected.

Those three lines only come up for a fraction of a second, and then the computer reboots to do the exact same thing.

-THING I'VE TRIED-

cpus=1 and 2

busratio=10 and 20 and 21 and 40

-x -f -s

(also various combinations of the above)

disabled ahci in bios

disabled S.M.A.R.T.

disabled NIC

disabled Floppy and IDE

-End THINGS I've TRIED-

      Hi,

      I have High Sierra 10.13.6 installed on a Gigabyte h360m d3h, an i3 8100 processor and a GeForce GTX 760.

I'm having some issues with sleep, shutdown and reboot not working correctly, this is what happens:
      Sleep: the machine restarts
Shutdown: the OS appears to not be running but the machine is left on
      Restart: the same as shutdown

Everything else (audio, video, usb) appears to be working correctly.

Do you know how can I fix this?

I'm attaching my config.plist and clover bootlog

      config.plist
      bootlog.txt

      Hello all,

I have successfully gotten my Hackintosh working 99 percent. The remaining issue that I am running into is that my system will randomly kernel panic upon a user issued shutdown or reboot WHEN I have either a usb sound card or usb headset plugged into any of my USB ports (both 2.0 and 3.0). If I remove the headset, it will power down with no issues. Does anyone have any suggestions?

      My system is as follows:
      MacOS 10.14 Mojave
      Gigabyte H370 HD3
      8400 i5 Coffee Lake
      Radeon RX 580 sound card

I have the internal audio disabled. I have also attached my config.plist file.

I have the following Kexts installed:

      FakePCIID_XHCIMux.kext
      USBInjectAll.kext
      FakeSMC.kext
      WhateverGreen.kext
      IntelMausiEthernet.kext
      XHCI-300-series-injector.kext

      Lilu.kext

      Thank you.

      Hello

My wife's early 2009 Snow Leopard iMac has started failing to boot properly and I'm looking for some troubleshooting tips.

Booting from cold, it gets past the logon screen and starts loading the desktop. It's quite slow at this point, but does load all the (hundreds of!) icons on the desktop. It also tries to re-open Firefox which had a lot of tabs open. Initially it would load a Firefox window but not complete loading the internals. On one boot I think I managed to close Firefox and now it still tries to load but just displays "Firefox" in the title bar with no windows.

I can initially access a few menus, spotlight, Finder, the dock, but any further action results in a beach ball for these, and they can't be accessed again. I was able to navigate Finder to try to launch Terminal but just it just gave me the beach ball.

I've left it like this for about half an hour but it doesn't get any further and I have to force shutdown (long press of power button).

I tried booting to safe mode (holding down S on startup) but the end result was the same.

I've been able to boot to a live ubuntu USB disk and can access files on the hard disk, so I've started a backup. We have a time machine backup but it's not that recent.

I'm hoping it's just a corrupt file, but suspect it's the hard disk starting to fail.

What's the best way to troubleshoot this?

      Thanks

      Dear All,

I followed the Olarila (MaLd0N's) guide and made the Mojave USB.
I had to install the system using an invalid GPU FakeID (0x12345678) to get past the KP.
Even after installation, my system going into KP if I don't use this invalid fakeid.
With the FakeID, my system reports 7mb VRAM with Intel HD630.
I am using the DSDT from my 10.13 installation.

      Used:
      Whatevergreen.kext
      Tried putting different FakeIDs
Put the Whatevergreen and Lilu in /Library/Extensions
Tried without Whatevergreen. The same setup used to work with 10.13.

My Laptop details are in my signature.
This is the link to the last time MaLd0N helped me get 10.13 working: https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/332021-msi-gv62-7re-1013-installation/

      Please help anyone.

      Thanking you

Hi everyone. I installed MacOS High Sierra on my computer 3 months ago, in January. After a long way to get the computer fully working now I'm facing a new problem: imagine I'm working or doing something in my computer and it suddenly freezes and I have to restart it.  There's no reason why the computer restarts by itself...
Here I also attach my Clover EFI folder in case you need it (it doesn't allow me to attach it so here i give you the link: https://mega.nz/#!92xCiLDZ!WY1F55ZvuP-9WW369EP9KY-3hNLt5sWUgJDxPrbgpPM .
      Thank you in advance.
