f96924 Posted April 25, 2012 Share Posted April 25, 2012 I've got the ISO of iPC 10.5.6 burned onto a dvd and when i boot it up and do the -v, i get all the white text, and finally a blue screen for 5 seconds, but it turns into a black screen. the computer stays on, but I cant get past this and get into the installation. Dell inspiron 1525 Duo Core 2 GHZ 3 GB of ram 32bit 120gb storage Intel 965 Express Chipset Display adapter. Thanks. sirbow2 Posted April 25, 2012 Share Posted April 25, 2012 sounds like a graphics issue. do you have external or integrated video card? if you have a second video out port on your comp, try plugging your monitor into that other port. I boot up the DVD, press f8, boot in -v, and get the black screen after the scrolling white text. Cant even get to installation,.
