ZØØT Posted March 17, 2012 Share Posted March 17, 2012 After searching the thread I find that my onboard video has no work-around to enable QE/CI functionality through EFI or kext solutions. Is there a DSDT solution? I have only managed to move my uid up two code lines so far as working in DSDT is concerned; I am out of my scope here. I have an HP DV 6500 AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual-Core Processor TK-55 1.80GHZ . Everything else including burn support works fine on this laptop using my existing DSDT file. Could someone please tell me if I'm beating a dead horse on this one? I'm not here due to lack of research. I have Googled, Binged and Asked, all over the Web for a solution and most roads lead me here for an answer. What I have learned so far is that either the nVidia GeForce 7150m/630m will not work through using DSDT or that no one has ever bothered to try to get it to work. Which one is it?
