HP Pavilion DV6-3230us - Update 10.6.3 - 10.6.7 - Mammoth Guide

I have been using the nice guide Mammoth has compiled and have gotten as far as booting into 10.6.3 but when I was updating to 10.6.7 i was unable to boot i tried several boot flags including:

GraphicsEnabler=No

cpus=1

-x

-f

-v

 

But no success in booting I did do the work around for i3i5, but no luck. I have gone into single user mode and retrieved the system.log file

Here are my specs:

HP Pavilion DV6-3230us

Intel i3 Processor 2.1GHz

6GB Ram

500GB HD

 

Please ask if you need any other details. I'm just trying to get it to boot. I would like to eventually get to Lion, but if I can just get to 10.6.8 or even close ide be happy.

i have the same laptop with the same problem. Updating from 10.6.3 to 10.6.7 always gives me issues. Can anyone help us out.
