Bill Gates
Howdy folks, I stumbled across this site last night after my HTPC kept crashing and causing me to get an another earful from the missus as it was inconveniencing her viewing yet again lol I have a lot of reading up to do before i make the jump, but i did want to try and get a rough feeling for just how stable everyone finds their homemade Mac's? Is updating regularly a pain or is it all pretty pain free? I only became a Mac user 6 months ago after buying a MBP i7 2ghz and love the stability of the OS (lion) and how well it works. My HTPC is running win 7 ultimate, Asus P7p55d, intel i3 2.93ghz, Radeon 4350 HD, GSkill DDR3 (667mhz), auzentech xfi home theatre HD sound and it's all housed on a Monuel 920L case Am i in a good place to make a jump or is there a ball ache of work to do with my current set up? I would take Mac os all day over Windows if it's as stable and runs as nicely as the experience I have had on my MBP, I would just hate to spent shed loads of time and to have a system that is always taking my time playing around with,,,,if i wanted that i would stick to Windows lol Nice to be here everyone...I'm off to do some reading about getting the Auzentech sound card to work on OSx...
