Hi everyone!!!

Before explain my problem, i juste wanna say that this forum is my last chance to resolve it... So thanks in advance for all of you gonna help me :D, and sorry for my bad english 'cause i'm french! I promise to be as comprehensible as possible!

SO!

Since 2 weeks, i attempted to install iAtkos L2 on my laptop, an ACER ASPIRE 5738Z... there is no tutorial (or i don't see them?!) on HOW TO INSTALL, i saw many videos on youtube with a working installation, but no tutorial! it's just disgust me... :/

In BIOS settings, i put AHCI enabled, but no boot! i've got the boot menu, and when i boot with "-v" command, there are some lines of command and the last say:

efi_inject_get_devprop_string NULL trying stringdata

And then, nothing else... The DVD doesn't run anyway, the laptop is freezing on this page!

Is anybody can help me? Is anybody with the same laptop who succeeded could help me with a step by step tutorial from BIOS settings to a perfectly runing Lion system??

THANKS A LOT

regards,

ok, here goes; i can't give a specific how-to on your machine, i'm trying to get L1 installed on my dell D630 but i can say be patient. if the installer says it's approximately 10 minutes, figure on 2 hours, no kidding. oh and if it seems frozen, hit the enter key or space bar. just because the dvd isn't spinning doesn't mean it's not doing something, fdisk takes awhile when running from a homemade pkg. i can't say enough, be patient. i left mine install over night, went to bed. woke up and it had booted, simply because i didn't mess it up by thinking it was frozen.

patience; hackintoshing is NOT for a machine you need everyday for work, especially if you're a newbie, stick with something that works for work.

hackintoshing is cool and all, but hardly anybody gets a 100% working mac. this is for that box in the closet that's collecting dust anyway.

peace.

oh and once more...patience.

Yep, thank you for supporting me! You're right, a hackintosh user have to be patient! This is not my first installation, did it for my own computer in the lounge... a perfectly running mac osx Lion, with mac appstore, iCloud, ...

Then we offered me this laptop, and since it's a fight between the human and the machin to install L2 on, or at least just boot it!!!

Crossing fingers...
