xbroak Posted January 15, 2012 Share Posted January 15, 2012 Hello everyone, I've gotten OSX installed lovely, updated to 10.6.8 using the combo update, however the CD drive is not detected in OSX which is my main issue, and a side issue im having is the inability to have sound over HDMI, i do not have direct audio in on my monitors and will need this if i ever want sound, though it seems almost impossible to get that working without complex DSDT edits and Kext work? thanks so much, really need someones helps: Hardware: Sata CD/DVD Drive (TsstCorp if it matters) Asrock G31M-GS AMD Radeon HD5570 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
