Foxic
Try using Nawcom ModCD At chameleon, enter -v to boot verbose, now rather than just freezing it will show you the boot process. If it kernel panics or hangs, take a photo and post it up. If you have trouble with graphics, (i.e. just going to a black screen or screen freeze on booting the SL disk), you can pull out your GFX card and use onboard graphics (if your MOBO supports it), the 2500k Intel 3000HD Graphics should work ok. Once you've got SL installed you can then install Lion. Foxic
You will have to click Utilities>Disk Utility and partition your hard drive as Mac OS X Extended (journaled). Exit Disk Utility and it should let you install.
